Appointment

I now have an appointment with my regular eye doctor on Wednesday the 24th. at 9:20am. Now, to coordinate with my husband, a date for a trip to the corneal specialist/surgeon about 4 hours away...

About This Blog...

This is the journey of my degenerative corneal disease called "Fuchs Endothelial Corneal Dystrophy." Fuchs is a degenerative disease that, barring corneal transplants, slowly (or in some cases, not so slowly) leads to blindness. It was recommended that I put in writing all of my symptoms, and things that I notice going on with my eyesight, on a regular basis, to better judge the progression of the disease. Through poems, lyrics, thoughts, etc...I'm hoping also to bless and encourage others who may be on a similar journey of their own.
